EA Semi-Auto is a type of Expert Advisor that combines automated execution with human decision-making. Unlike fully automated robots that trade without your input, a semi-auto EA sends you trading signals and waits for your approval before executing trades.
Panel SMC MT5 by iCafeFX is our free semi-auto EA built on Smart Money Concepts (SMC). It identifies institutional order blocks, fair value gaps, and liquidity zones, then generates signals for your review. You click 'approve' and the EA handles the rest — entry, stop-loss, and take-profit.

Download Panel_SMC_MT5_byicafefx_V6_Final.zip from siamcafe.net/download/. Extract the ZIP file. Copy the EA file (.ex5) to your MT5 Data Folder under MQL5/Experts. Restart MetaTrader 5.
In MT5, go to Navigator panel → Expert Advisors → find Panel SMC MT5. Drag it onto any chart. Click 'OK' in the settings dialog to use default settings. Make sure the 'AutoTrading' button in the toolbar is enabled (green). The EA panel will appear on your chart, ready to receive signals.

The Panel SMC MT5 displays a clean interface on your chart showing: current signal direction (BUY/SELL), entry price, suggested stop-loss, suggested take-profit, and the risk-reward ratio. Each signal is generated using Smart Money Concepts analysis.
When a new signal appears, review the setup. Check if the signal aligns with the overall market trend. If you agree, click the 'Execute' button on the panel. The EA will open the trade with proper lot sizing based on your risk settings. If you disagree, simply ignore the signal — no trade is placed.
Risk Settings and Configuration
Before trading live, configure your risk settings. The EA allows you to set: maximum risk per trade (recommended 1-2% of account), maximum number of open trades, lot size calculation method (fixed or risk-based), and trailing stop parameters.
Start with conservative settings — 1% risk per trade, maximum 3 open trades. As you gain experience and confidence in the signals, you can gradually increase. Never set risk above 5% per trade regardless of your experience level.

Panel SMC MT5 works on all forex pairs and gold (XAUUSD). For best results, use it on H1 (1-hour) and H4 (4-hour) timeframes. These timeframes provide a good balance between signal frequency and signal quality.
The most reliable signals come from major pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, and XAUUSD. These instruments have high liquidity and respond well to Smart Money Concepts analysis. Avoid using the EA on exotic pairs with low liquidity.
